About the event

As part of the regular IGC Webinar series – a partnership of Enerchange and ThinkGeoEnergy – we are proud to host Camilo Mejía, CEO of Enovate Upstream, who will provide detailed information on the intersection of digital, oil and gas technology and clean power generation.

After the presentation you will have the opportunity to discuss and ask further questions.

Currently Camilo is the CEO of Enovate and was appointed as Senior Executive Vice President for Exceed Geo Energy, a US Geothermal utility company. Thereby, Camilo leads the development of the sCo2 engineering for heat extraction, the automation of the subsurface and surface operations for more than 200 MW of power generation. Meanwhile, he holds a record of 18 years of experience after working for Weatherford International and Rosen Europe in the divisions of Software Development, Drilling Operations, Geosciences, Research and Development, Reservoir Consulting, Continental Management and Global Management.

Enovate Upstream provides physics-based artificial intelligence for drilling, completions, and production within the oil and gas industry. These represent cloud-based platforms that make operational changes for O&G companies remotely instead of having to rely on employees on the ground. For this webinar, Camilo will introduce the “Digital Twins for Geothermal and Advanced Geothermal Engineered Systems”. The digital twin design and plant automation enables the use of low to medium enthalpy subsurface applications with the target of asset repurposing and medium to high enthalpy thermodynamics to optimize heat extraction and increase decarbonization.
