The AGA is pleased to welcome Vulcan Energy as a new Corporate Member!
Vulcan Energy is listed on the ASX with corporate headquarters in Perth but its assets are located in Europe, focused in the Upper Rhine Graben region in Germany and France. Vulcan owns and operates the Insheim geothermal plant, where they are currently producing emission-free electicity and hot water for district heating, as well as a number of other licenses in the area that are being actively explored and developed.
Vulcan plans to use geothermal power to underpin its Zero Carbon Lithium project that will extract lithium from the geothermal brine to supply battery manufacturing for the electric vehicle industry.
