Geothermal professionals from 54 countries throughout the five continents gathered in Beijing 15-17 September attend the World Geothermal Congress - WGC 2023. One outcome was a renewed commitment to promote geothermal energy as an active player in the impending energy transition, as summarised in the Beijing Declaration. We look forward to seeing governments, academia, companies, and the international community pushing forward the high-quality growth of geothermal under common efforts and make more prominent contributions to addressing global energy and environmental issues and driving sustainable development.
