The Australia Geothermal Association endorses the United Nations Framework Classification (UNFC) for geothermal resource reporting.
An update was issued in October 2022 that outlines the Supplementary Specifications for the Application of the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (Update 2019) (UNFC (2019)) to geothermal energy resources.
